Rooms are where work happens. Threads are what it is about.

The company has stable places: Sell, Make, Ship, Money. But an order does not respect those walls. It moves through them. This prototype keeps both coordinates visible so changing departments never means losing the business story.

Two coordinates, one interface

Room + thread
Sellpromise
Makeproduce
Shipdeliver
Moneysettle
ORDER 8042 / OBSERVATORIO NORTENeeds Ship

The room tells you who owns the next move. The thread preserves the complete demand-to-cash story.

The reorganization

This is not a hierarchy of software modules. Each room is a durable workplace with its own morning surface, queues, records, schedule, and contextual configuration. Home becomes Focus: the cross-room brief for people who wear several hats. Catalog and Company support the work without competing with the four operating verbs.

01 / Rooms

Stable places, not folders

Entering Ship means entering the warehouse's complete working world. Leave it and come back: the same view, filters, density, and selected context remain.

  • Focus + four operating verbs
  • Catalog and Company stay quieter
  • Permissions remove entire places cleanly
02 / Threads

The business story travels

An order, opportunity, or supply need becomes a portable thread. Its promise, current owner, connected records, documents, and chronology cross rooms intact.

  • Demand-to-cash and supply-to-pay
  • Branches stay visible as branches
  • One next useful action, one owner
03 / Focus

Attention, not dashboarding

Global Home answers what needs you now. It separates decisions from work moving normally, so information can remain visible without demanding attention.

  • Consequence before chronology
  • Act in place or enter the owning room
  • No vanity metrics or manual statuses

Walk the system

These are the same cross-functional stresses the final interface must survive. Each link sets a role, room, active thread, and task. Switch rooms and use browser Back/Forward; the prototype preserves place rather than simulating disconnected screenshots.

What this prototype must prove

Premium is behavior before decoration. The comparison is whether the system feels calm while the work remains dense, relationships stay visible, and every movement has a predictable return path.

Five-second orientationCan a person name their room, current work, and next useful action immediately?TEST
Cross-room continuityCan an order move from Sell to Make to Ship to Money without becoming four separate records?TEST
Return without lossDoes each room restore the view and density that person left behind?TEST
Simple without shallowCan a new worker navigate visibly while a power user moves through Ctrl+K and shortcuts?TEST
One configuration truthDo contextual and global settings routes resolve to the same place and ownership?TEST
